Delivery & Returns - International & Domestic
1.17 Marine Teak subsides delivery costs to our customers within the United Kingdom, and worldwide. In the case of a return or cancellation of an unwanted product, Marine Teak reserve the option to charge the physical courier costs of any delivery to the customer less the original carriage charge paid by the customer.
1.18 Goods damaged in transit must be reported immediately by signing the delivery note "Damaged on arrival" and returning it to Marine Teak within five working days. You must notify Marine Teak immediately if the goods have been damaged by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
1.19 All our products are carefully checked prior to dispatch. Please inspect your items on arrival and if there is any damage, inform us in writing within 48 hours of receipt on email@example.com. After this 48 hour period it is deemed the items have arrived in satisfactory condition. Should there be breakages or damage, and we have been notified within 48 hours, we will contact you to arrange for a replacement to be sent to you on receipt of the damaged item. In the unlikely event that you receive the wrong product, or you wish to return the product for any other reason, please contact us within fourteen calendar days of receipt on firstname.lastname@example.org. Goods cannot be returned to us after fourteen calendar days of receipt and all returns must be notified to us prior to return. Returned items must be unused and in the original packaging and accompanied by the original copy of Marine Teak’s receipt and received by us within fourteen days of issuing you with your returns number. The cost of returning unwanted items will be the customers responsibility. Items that are returned to us remain the customer’s responsibility until they are received by us in good order (unless damage has been notified). We therefore strongly recommend that you retain your proof of posting, in case the parcel gets lost and you need to make a claim from your courier or Royal Mail.
Our returns policy does not apply to goods purchased on trade terms. Due to the nature of business to business transactions no returns will be accepted. This however does not affect your statutory rights.
